While the new full-length Sventovit album is in the works, I have decided to release 'Olde Lore', a compilation of Old-School/Raw Dungeon Synth demo tracks recorded over the past year or so.

The ten tracks of this compilation were inspired by various fantasy novels, occult magic, personal feelings and emotions and the everlasting desire to return to the long forgotten past, of fearless warriors, valiant deeds and powerful gods, an age of legends.

While this is by no means a perfect album, I hope the tracks are able to transport you to the dark medieval ages of yore and evoke deep forgotten memories within you - visions from a past age.

All music Recorded and Produced by Porin of Sventovit in 2020-2021.

As a genre that relies so heavily on nostalgia, Dungeon Synth as a genre has some hard limits. However, when done right, it can really just draw you in. Forest Shrine just does everything right here. The music does a great job at visualizing a winter landscape in all of its stark beauty and I suspect enjoying this in the snow will make it even better. 3.5/5 ClassyMusicSnob

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
